IHSN’s Small Fleet Program
IHSN’s Small Fleet Program is designed especially to meet the needs of owner-operators and other small motor carriers. DOT requires owner-operators to be enrolled in a consortium pool for random selections. IHSN’s Small Fleet Program is designed to provide a comprehensive testing package including consortium pooling for owner-operators and other carriers who prefer to be in a consortium pool rather than their own company pool. This service model provides a complete turn-key compliance system including a sample company drug and alcohol policy, compliance guidebook, supervisor and employee training materials, forms and record keeping system, and drug and alcohol testing. This service model features one flat fee per driver that covers the entire* program costs for the year. This is an excellent service package for:

• Owner-operators

• Carriers that want to be enrolled in a consortium pool

• Carriers new to DOT drug and alcohol testing

• Carriers who want to control their costs by paying one flat fee per driver per year

*Testing required as a result of a program violation, (i.e. return to duty, follow-up testing, etc.) is not covered by the annual program fee.

IHSN’s Random Selection Service Program
IHSN’s Randoms Selection Program is a designed for employers who want to outsource their random selection services. This is an ideal service package for employers who manage the majority of their testing program services, but want a third party to complete their random selections.  This service allows the employer to keep the random selection process at arms length and insulate themselves from claims of discrimination by employees selected for testing.

Please note that random selection services are included in all of our other packages.  This package is for clients who are looking for random selection services only.
